The Red Booster servo clutch kit makes your Defenders clutch much easier to press.

This kit will make your driving a more pleasurable experience and reduce the effort you’d normally put in from driving your Defender. No more painful knees or feet when you are stuck in slow moving traffic! Designed, engineered and manufactured to the highest standards, Red Booster is a mechanism system that makes it possible for all Defenders to have a servo-assisted clutch.

Working in a similar way to the braking system with a servo-assisted system, it is mounted between the pedal and master cylinder and uses a vacuum from the inlet manifold to reduce the amount of pressure needed on the pedal to operate the clutch.

The left-hand drive version – works similar to the right-hand drive system. The location of the clutch pedal of a left-hand drive Defender is on the far corner of the vehicle and with hardly any space the entire unit had to be redesigned to fit without cutting and drilling your vehicle.

The standard pin and eye shock absorbers don’t have the necessary articulation for extreme off-road conditions and the answer is to use pin and pin shock absorbers. If you use our Cellular Dynamic Plus 5″ shock absorbers (DC6000LL) they offer better articulation.

Note – On Defender Td5 the fuel filter must be moved.

Sometimes off-road conditions can be serious enough to test the standard equipment on your Land Rover to its maximum
One of the critical components that takes most of the abuse is the suspension system. When using the standard single shock absorber configuration it is not unknown for the shock absorber to break the factory fitted turret mount. These shock absorber turrets from Britpart give you confidence that your vehicles suspension will tackle the terrain you take it through with greater ease.

The single shock absorber turret is manufactured from heavy-duty steel and replaces the existing turret mount which is susceptible to corrosion by allowing a build up of dirt inside which is hard to clean thoroughly. The new design is harder wearing and easier to clean.

The twin shock absorber turret is manufactured from the same quality steel as the single shock absorber turret but allows for the fitment of an additional shock absorber. The benefits of having extra shock absorbers fitted to your Land Rover is that any extreme force encountered is divided between the two shock absorbers for a more comfortable ride for you and your passengers. Using twin shocks is also beneficial when carrying loads both on and off-road as it improves the load carrying ability of the vehicle. An additional benefit is that when changing shock absorbers there is no need to remove the turrets.
