With the brackets fitted, the 2nd row doors will now open to almost 90-degrees, greatly improving passenger entry and egress from the vehicle as well as making the loading of large cargo items easier. Manufactured from stainless-steel, the GMB Defender 2nd row door hinge extension kit is supplied with two brackets and all fixings required. Fitting time is approx 5 minutes per door. -

With this in mind now available is a 1.5m plug and play extension harness it is possible to move the BBUS (battery back up sounder) from behind the headlight to a safe inaccessible location where it is not easily disabled by thieves. Defender 90 Stainless Steel Side Entry Sills designed to give you a clean look rather than the unsightly bolts and carpet edge when entering your defender, These have been designed to replace the bolts showing by dropping the stainless steel plate into the holes then all you do is tighten up the nuts to locate into place. ( Do not over tighten the nuts as you can pull through the thread ) you may need to elongate the holes slightly as we all know the tolerances on each defender differ. The plate is also angled 25 degree to press into the carpet to keep this into place. -
