The foam takes up less room which means more room for oil, 50% more, which offers maximum heat dispersion. This heat dispersion translates to a very subtle but controlled ride that will not fade no matter how hard you push them. They are ideal for a driver who needs more control to complement performance improvements or to enhance a standard vehicle. Designed to replace the original much smaller intercooler on the Land Rover Defender TD5. This Intercooler kit now fits both Air Con or non-Air Con vehicles. This intercooler is over twice the size of the original Land Rover item! This highly efficient product is designed and manufactured by AlliSport Ltd and comes ready to fit utilising the original pipe work and mounting brackets. Constructed using our ultra efficient vacuum brazed core design with internal “turbulators” to increase cooling capacity. CNC stamp cut for quality and consistency and fully TIG welded by hand all in house. The increased cooling capacity together with the appropriate electronic tuning can allow performance to be increased to over 190BHP with an improvement in fuel economy. Fuel economy increaces by, on average 10% with a reduction in cylinder head thermal stress. Thermal stress is actually reduced as the EGT or combustion temperature is reduced dramatically. The Puma 2.2/2.4 Tdci Ceramic clutch Fitted with an 8 paddle ceramic sprung drive plate, gives you an increase in up-take of 40% from the peddle, meaning the clutch grips and moves faster than the HD organic kit, meaning the Clutch cover itself is doing less work. It has also had a 20% increase in poundage from the O.E Land Rover kit. Needs 500 miles of soft driving at 1/4 throttle to allow all faces to mate and bed correctly. Failure to do so will end in a glazed drive plate and slip. The Clutch is Supplied with the Following: 1 x Clutch Plate 1 x Clutch Cover 1 x Release bearing (please note some 2.2 tdci models are fitted with a different type of release bearing, if the different type is fitted this will need to be purchased through a main agent) -

CLUTCHFIX Land Rover Defender Puma 2.2/2.4 Tdci Clutch Fitted with HD1, the top commercial lining manufactured and used by Clutchfix Ltd, is a heavy duty application for drivers running a remapped engine, upto 210BHP. We use this material for the fleets we look after including the 200Tonne Liebherr Cranes run by Ainscough Crane hire. It has also had a 20% increase in poundage from the O.E Land Rover kit. It is a great daily drive, giving you peace of mind that it is a better grade of material than that supplied by Land Rover. It will deal with some green laning and towing (nothing too serious).
